The Nexo system has been brought in as part of the final year research project of BSc (Hons) Sound, Light and Live Event Technology student, Mark Stubbs. Mark has been looking into the accuracy of manufacturer loudspeaker planning software, as compared to real-world measurements.
To date he has measured and modeled PAs from Nexo, d&b, L-Acoustics, and dBTech. No doubt he has quite a bit of data analysis to carry out over the next few weeks!
Many thanks to SFL for lending their warehouse, equipment and time to Mark for his research, as well as to Sound of Music for their generous loan of equipment to supplement what we have in-house here at Derby.
